Omar Metwally

Omar appeared on Broadway in Sixteen Wounded, for which he received Tony and Outer Critics Circle nominations. Off-Broadway and Regional credits include Homebody/Kabul with Steppenwolf, Quartet at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the world premiere of Charles Mee’s Summertime at the Magic Theatre, as well as work with Berkeley Repertory Theatre (Pentecost), the Long Wharf Theater (Sixteen Wounded), the American Conservatory Theater, Trinity Repertory Company, and others. Omar’s work with the Rude Mechanicals includes The Winter’s Tale, The Bacchae 2.1 and Company. He has also worked with Campo Santo, and in New York with Edge Company, the International WOW Company, Nibras and Synapse. Film and television credits include Life on the Ledge, Nash Bridges (CBS) and others. He received his MFA from the American Conservatory Theater.
